Alena from Germany often visit Cape Town for modelling and advertising work, and this time she joined us in Nature’s Valley, South Africa for a playful week of portfolio shooting and filming.
Nature’s Valley is a small holiday town in the Tsitsikama Forest on the East Coast of South Africa. A beautiful backdrop for portraiture and film-making.
She moves with the wind and flows with the river. She howls at the moon and smiles at the sun.
The beach was off course a favourite location to shoot and it being out of holiday season, it was mostly deserted and we could play and shoot freely.
Just when you think she is finished, she declares, “I’ve just begun.” Like wild flowers, she grows where she decides to push through fallow ground.
It was a delight to shoot in the enchanting Tsitsikamma forest, a magical paradise of soft light filtering through the tree tops.
Like wild fire, she spreads with speed that can’t be drowned. She has mystery in her blood, magic in her touch and regardless of her frame she can be to much-wild woman
