“There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age.” ~ Sophia Loren

Taitum, a young upcoming photographer, wanted to have her own photo shoot, which as a photographer, is always a good thing to do to understand what it takes to be in front of the camera instead of behind it.

The morning started out cloudy and cold, so we put on the music to get us into the groove as we played with a couple of indoor poses.

As the sun broke through the clouds we moved into the garden for a playful shoot with the cats tagging along wondering what’s all the fuss.

There was a light breeze in the air with a soft cloud cover, perfect for outdoor portraits as we headed to Langebaan Lagoon beach.

With perfect natural light for soft skin-tones, a beautiful beach location and a relaxed model, the portfolio shoot turned out just awesome.
Whether before or behind a camera, I would say Taitum got it both ways!
